Examination Frequency
L.K.G. – Class V
3 examinations per academic year
Class VI – Class X
4 examinations per academic year
Passing Criteria
- A student must secure a minimum of 33% marks (or D grade) in each subject and in the aggregate to pass.
- Applications for verification of marks must be submitted within 3 days of the declaration of results.
Promotion Policy
L.K.G. – Class V
No detention policy — students are promoted to the next class; parents may be guided to optionally repeat a class in the child's interest.
Class VI – Class VIII
33% in all subjects results in promotion. A single failed subject is "passed by grace." Two or more failed subjects require a supplementary examination.
Class IX – Class X
33% marks constitute a pass. Below this, the student must appear for a supplementary examination as per CBSE norms.
