Rules of the School

  1. 1Applications for leave must be made in writing and signed by a parent/guardian, addressed to the Principal.
  2. 2In case of sickness, the school must be informed; a written excuse signed by the parent/guardian is required when the student returns.
  3. 3Students returning late after the holidays without a valid, communicated reason risk removal from the rolls.
  4. 4Running or shouting inside the school building is not permitted.
  5. 5Any damage caused to school property by a student must be compensated for by the parent/guardian.
  6. 6Students are expected to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
  7. 7At the "first bell" — five minutes before the assembly — all students must take their allotted places.
  8. 8Outside books, newspapers and comics are not allowed on school premises without the Principal's approval.
  9. 9The school is not responsible for the loss of any valuables brought onto the premises.
  10. 10Students are expected to converse in English while on the school premises.
  11. 11Parents are expected to cooperate with the school on matters of discipline and homework.
  12. 12Parents must check and sign their ward's progress reports/report card.
  13. 13Parent-Teacher meetings may be held only with the prior sanction of the Principal.
  14. 14School uniform is compulsory on all class days and at school functions.
  15. 15P.T. uniform (colour per House) is compulsory and worn on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Class II onwards.
  16. 16The school diary and yearly calendar, along with the prescribed belt and tie, are compulsory items of uniform.

Library Rules

  • A fine of ₹5 per day is charged for late return of library books.
  • Any damage to a library book is penalised at the discretion of the Librarian/Principal.

Grounds for Removal

  • Inability to follow instruction in the English-medium classroom
  • Indiscipline
  • More than 10 days of unexplained absence
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Failing the same class twice
