Admission Open — Nursery to IX & XI

Admission at St. Anselm's School is open to all children irrespective of caste, colour, creed or religion, for Nursery through Class IX and Class XI.

Admission Process

A child must complete 4 years 6 months of age by 1st April for admission to H.K.G., with a corresponding age scale applied for other classes.

  1. Admission for higher classes is through an interview / written test assessing English fluency and comprehension of Mathematics.
  2. Admission is granted purely at the discretion of the Principal; no donations are accepted at any stage.
  3. Registration on the prescribed form (available at the school office / website) does not guarantee admission.
  4. Interview / test dates are notified in advance and parental presence is obligatory.
  5. Results are posted on the notice board / website; admission form and fee are payable on the results day between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., by bank payment only.
  6. Regular classes begin from the last week of March.
  7. Fees once deposited are non-refundable, and unsuccessful candidates' applications are not reconsidered.

Documents Required

  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Original Birth Certificate (Municipal / Baptism) — a photostat is retained and the original returned
  • Transfer Certificate from the previously attended recognised school, where applicable
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Latest Report Card
  • Copy of sibling's marksheet, if applicable

Withdrawal & Transfer Certificate

  • One calendar month's written notice is required before withdrawal, or one month's fee is charged in lieu of notice.
  • No Transfer Certificate is issued until all dues are cleared.
  • A student who fails in the same class twice must discontinue studies at the school.
